Manchester Center: Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, J. Crew, Brooks Brothers, and their equals. You can find the outlet of your choice here, and certainly find an endless variety of great merchandise to choose from. This is not to say that Manchester Center is known only for its outlet stores, it has many great boutiques and craft shows.

The elegant 220 year-old Equinox Hotel still serves, as it did then, the centerpiece of this elegant and affluent village. A number of small shops are within steps of the hotel and its marble sidewalks, as is The Equinox Country Club. Everything in Manchester Village is well-manicured and pleasing to the eye, including several very impressive inns and dining establishments.

The Weston Playhouse facility includes air conditioning and an infrared listening system. Billings Farm & Museum, a working dairy farm that depicts farm life in the 1890s and provides hands-on activities for children. Adjacent to the farm is the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park, Vermont's only national park and the only national park to focus on conservation history. Guided tours of the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller Mansion and the surrounding grounds and gardens are available. The park and Billings Farm share a parking lot and information center and are located a half mile from the Woodstock village green.
