Having been in the industry for most of my adult life, I feel it has become my mission to share my experience in a way that will benefit my clients. I have experienced many different market places and have learned much! Real Estate is a fascinating industry!
In opening my Ludlow, Vermont office, I am looking towards the future of our ever-changing real estate industry. As sellers and buyers become more informed about the sale or purchase of their property or home, and with the use of our ever improving informational highway, I feel it is time to offer YOU the option of CHOICE.
I wish to welcome our clients into an atmosphere of relaxed professionalism. My goal is to bring our clients complete satisfaction when doing business with my company.
I am very connected to my community and like to share that with my clients. When working with my company, it is my desire to bring information to my clients that will enable them to make good and informed decisions.
In order to stay in tune with my home town area, I do serve on several local boards ranging from community development to looking out for our animal friends. Giving back to my community will always be at the top of my list.
I enjoy my area in all seasons and I wish to share that incredible experience with folks that I meet that are from outside our area. I feel I am blessed to be a part of the area in which I live, work and play.
Enjoying Vermont for its local flavor is something that remains fresh for me every time I experience it. Whether I am snowshoeing, horseback riding, gardening or just plain living, I believe in doing it with a zest and appreciation.
Stop by today and let us begin your journey in finding your place in Vermont! |

It is my mission to change the face of real estate one client at a time.
It seems as though I have lived & breathed the Real Estate/Community Development business since birth. When I was born, my father (a Realtor) was the Director of the Chamber of Commerce in Newport, Rhode Island and then during the summer of my twelfth year, my family & I decided to move to “God’s Country” in Northern Maine where I helped to operate our general store, became a “gentle (woman) farmer”, and picked potatoes the old fashioned way, while my Dad ran the local Chamber & the regional airport. (I learned the real meaning of “multi-tasking” while living in Maine!) Throughout my childhood, I was groomed for the business world and can recount endless hours of stuffing mailing envelopes, designing marketing campaigns and countless weekends spent at the latest “open house” event. (My Dad’s idea of a “weekend getaway”!)
In 1982, I finally settled in as resident of Vermont, and have since lived in every resort area from the Massachusetts boarder to Central Vermont, where I have worked in all areas of the real estate & resort business.
It is my sincere wish to use my many years of life experience, as well as a very in depth understanding of the real estate market in Vermont, to assist my clients with the highest level of professionalism. By demonstrating an attitude of trust, integrity, honesty and knowledge, I support my clients throughout their real estate journey, by offering them up-to-date factual information, guidance and a steady foundation for them to make informed decisions. I have always believed that whether my clients are buying or selling their home, it is an emotional time, and quite frankly it’s not about me… it is simply my job to be their guide.
I spend my free time with my family (fur people too!) and enjoy the theatre, music, golf, boating, snowshoeing, hiking and reading. I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Divinity which I utilize by volunteering as a Spiritual counselor for terminally ill patients and their families. |

| My name is Kristen Merrow. I have worked in Ludlow for over 10 years in the rental industry.(Since 1997) I went on to learn all aspects of the business managing the office, the staff and building relationships with owners and tenants in the area. Our job was to make their stay as comfortable and easy as possible. A true vacation from their regular daily grind. After the business was sold I ventured out on my own into a cleaning business. I have owned my own business for the last 6 years. It has evolved from small cleaning business to a successful Property Management company in a very short time. I come from a hard working family and carry on a strong work ethic. I feel my success has come from being honest with people and keeping things simple. I look forward to working with a group of similar people in the Walnut Hill office and passing our experience and excitement on to you. |

As a native Vermonter, I can say with confidence that there is no better place to live! No place can compare with the stunning scenery, kind people, and sense of welcoming community that is Vermont.
I have always been very self driven. I opened my first business in ’02 with a dream, a prayer, and a four month old on my hip. I managed to reach my 5 year business goal in the first year alone.
Forced to make a career change due to health reasons and the impending arrival of my second child, I did a lot of soul searching, and decided to peruse real estate. I remembered working with an absolutely wonderful agent when looking for our first home. She really stood out to me after working with several unsatisfactory agents. It was that example I wished to embody as I started this new chapter in my life. I wanted to be an agent that raised the bar and helped to set a new standard for professionalism in the real estate field. Now, I am lucky enough to hang my license with that agent who originally inspired me, and I am proud to be a member of the Walnut Hill Realty Team.
When not working, I enjoy trail riding, shooting sports, gardening, and hanging out with my husband and two wonderful children. |

When we returned to Vermont we spent quite a bit of time looking for our dream house. We worked with a number of realtors and spent a lot of time looking at houses that did not meet our stated preferences. One realtor suggested that we contact you and introduced us to the concept of working with a buyer’s representative.
That was a great suggestion. You paid close attention to what we were looking for in a house and only showed us houses that seemed to meet our interests. We found our dream house after a few visits. We were busy taking care of sick, elderly parents so we really appreciated the way you advised us with the details of the transactions. It was really great having someone working for us and representing our interests. It gave us confidence in the purchase to know that we were being represented by an experienced and capable expert.
Thanks for your professional assistance. We have been in our home for four years and love it!

Becky Sanford helped my husband and I with finding our first home and took care of the scheduling of the inspection and any little details that came with the purchase of the home. We were in a hurry to find a home before our lease ran out. The first weekend after letting Becky know of our urgency, she had us looking at 8 homes in one day, which took up a lot of her time to set up and then show each house, but she didn't seem to mind and seemed as eager as we were to find the perfect home for us and by the end of that day, we were ready to make an offer on a house. By the following Monday, our offer was accepted.
Thank you Becky for making our homing buying experience a great one!

My wife and I first met Becky 3 years ago when we were looking for an old house in Springfield. She was very attentive to our needs and wasted no time with us finding our present home on Paddock Rd.
We were living in Connecticut at the time and she didn't waste our time showing us homes that we wouldn't be interested in, or were out of our price range. We first saw our home the day after a snow storm. From that moment on she stuck with us through the process to the day we closed on the property. I would recommend her to anyone interested in buying in the area.
Sincerely,
Art & Catherine Lamorte
We moved to Vermont in 2002 after spending 10 years in Australia so that my husband could start a job with the Springfield Hospital. My husband had gone to medical school at UVM but neither of us were familiar with Springfield. The hospital referred us to Becky for help with housing. We were living in temporary housing at Mt Ascutney Resort. Becky was terrific. She organized our search so that we could utilize our weekends efficiently and did not waste our time with unacceptable showings. She took the time to discern what we were looking for and chose houses that fit our needs. Once we made our choice she walked us effortlessly through the paperwork, inspections, etc. She was accessible, cooperative and flexible. Becky works for the buyer and had no vested interest in what home we chose. Buying a home is a major undertaking. Becky made it as painless as possible and we found the home we love. Need I say more!
